We usually focus on taste as the first priority for our nutrition. Enjoying food is ok but some is better than others.
So how do we know which is better? My simple rule is awareness. Focus on how your body feels after eating and drinking. Do you feel better or worse? This exercise becomes much easier when you diversify your nutrition.
For example, eat a Caesar salad dish one day and listen to your body after/during digestion. Then on another day eat some fast food... How do you feel? Now the comparison is easier. The more awareness the more you're convinced top eat healthier food.
Do the same on beverages, like green tea and soda. Compare how the body feels and that's all you need to learn.
